Applications for the 2024 Student Science & International Competitions Sponsorship Grants open on 22 January 2024!

A school student’s background shouldn’t stop them from growing their love for science.

The Albanese Government is funding sponsorship grants for student who wish to participate in virtual or in-person STEM engagement events, activities and competitions hosted in Australia or overseas.

Organisations such as schools and community groups can seek grants amounts of between $1,500 and $15,000, with a maximum amount per student of $2,000 for domestic events and $5,000 for events requiring international travel. Grants can be used to support travel expenses and registration costs.

Applications can be submitted from the opening date until the available funding is fully subscribed, or by the closing date (4 April 2024), whichever occurs first.
